We designed the Bear Cub - Kids Mattress to have the perfect combination of foam and coils. It is built with a solid core using 6" of individually wrapped coils for deep compression and durable support. In addition, the top layer is made of gel infused memory foam for cooling comfort. We would categorize the mattress to be a medium-firm, a 6.8 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most firm.
