How does my mattress arrive?

All Bear mattresses arrive compressed, vacuum sealed, rolled, and packed in a box for easier delivery and setup.

Compressing the mattress allows it to ship more efficiently while still maintaining the integrity of the materials once expanded.

Because Bear mattresses can be heavy, especially hybrid models with coils, we recommend moving the box with two people whenever possible.

Once your mattress arrives:

• Carefully move the box to the room where the mattress will be used
• Remove the rolled mattress from the box
• Place the mattress on your foundation or bed frame before opening the plastic
• Carefully cut away the protective plastic using caution not to damage the mattress

Once unwrapped, the mattress will immediately begin expanding.
