What happens to returned mattresses?

Whenever possible, returned mattresses are donated locally through our return partners.

Donation and pickup availability depends on:

•  Local laws and regulations 
•  Charitable organization availability 
•  Product condition 
•  Geographic location 
•  Third-party pickup coverage in your area

Please note:

• Returned mattresses are not shipped back to Bear facilities 
• In many areas, Bear coordinates donation or pickup services through third-party partners 
•  Some locations may have limited donation or pickup availability depending on local provider coverage
• If local pickup or donation services are unavailable in your area, customers may be asked to coordinate local mattress disposal or donation independently.

In these cases, our team may request:

• Photos of the mattress 
•  A donation receipt 
•  Disposal documentation 
•  Pickup confirmation paperwork

Our Customer Experience Team will provide step-by-step instructions based on your location, return eligibility, and available service options.

Please do not dispose of your mattress until instructed by our team.
