FedEx delivery delays can occasionally occur and are usually temporary.
Large mattress shipments move through multiple FedEx facilities and may experience delays at different points during transit depending on weather, routing conditions, and overall carrier volume.
Common reasons for delivery delays include:
• Severe weather conditions or transportation disruptions
• High shipping volume during major sales events and holidays
• Delays at major FedEx sorting hubs or transfer facilities
• Missed delivery attempts
• Address verification issues or incomplete delivery information
• Trailer or truck transfer delays between FedEx facilities
• Weekend and holiday slowdowns
• Temporary tracking update delays within the FedEx system
Please note that mattresses are large shipments and may occasionally move through different transit routes than smaller standard packages.
In many cases, packages continue moving through the FedEx network even if tracking does not immediately update.
Please Note
• FedEx estimated delivery dates may occasionally adjust while the shipment is in transit
• Tracking updates can sometimes lag behind the actual physical movement of the package
• During major promotional periods, both FedEx processing and transit times may be extended due to increased nationwide shipping volume
• Large mattress boxes may require additional handling time at certain FedEx facilities
If your tracking has shown absolutely no movement for at least 3 full business days, please contact support@bearmattress.com and our team can review the shipment and open a carrier investigation if needed.
